Business Hours and Branch-Specific Settings

Overview

Opening hours and several operational settings in WAJ are configured per branch, so each location can run on its own schedule and rules. This covers setting opening hours, per-branch service availability, and the extra settings reached from a branch's detail screen.

Setting opening hours

From a branch's Opening Hours dialog, set hours for each day of the week. An "Apply to all days" shortcut copies one day's hours across the whole week, so you don't have to repeat yourself for a business that keeps the same hours every day.

How midnight closing times work

If a branch closes at midnight, set the closing time to 12:00 AM (midnight). WAJ correctly treats this as the very end of that business day — it won't confuse it with the branch opening at noon the next day. Your hours display accurately no matter what time you close.

Available services per branch

Choose which service categories are bookable at each branch from its Available Services list. This lets a flagship location offer more than a smaller satellite branch. Only categories marked Available for a branch show up as bookable there online — a category can exist for your business overall but be switched off at a specific location.

Per-branch settings

Opening an existing branch's details also gives you quick access to:

  • POS Printer Settings — configure the receipt printer for that location.

  • Branch VAT Settings — set a tax rate for that specific branch (it can differ from other branches).

  • Waitlist Settings — configure how the waitlist behaves at that branch.

  • JoFotara E-Invoicing — Jordan-specific tax e-invoicing setup, relevant only if you operate in Jordan.

Notes & limitations

Setting opening hours, available services, and per-branch settings are permission-controlled actions, same as other branch edits. Because hours and available services are set per branch, remember to update each location separately, or use "Apply to all days" within a branch to keep its own schedule consistent.
