Broadcasts and Campaigns
Overview
A Broadcast is a one-off, manually-sent marketing campaign — you pick a message, an audience, and a send time, and WAJ delivers it over WhatsApp or Email. Broadcasts share a Templates library with Automations, so message designs built for one can be reused in the other.
Sending a broadcast
Go to Marketing → Broadcasts and tap New Campaign, then work through the wizard:
Channel — WhatsApp (available once a WhatsApp Business number is connected) or Email (sent through WAJ's own email provider).
Template — pick a template to start from, or build the message from scratch.
Content — customize the text and design for this specific send.
Audience — All Clients, a saved segment, or a Custom list you build by hand. Each option shows the contact count and an estimated delivery time.
Schedule — send immediately, or pick a future date and time.
Review & Send — a final summary, including the credit cost if one applies, before you confirm.
Tracking campaigns
The Broadcasts list shows every campaign under All / Scheduled / Sent / Failed tabs, with channel, audience, send date, and delivery progress. Opening a campaign shows its delivery funnel — Total → Sent → Delivered → Read — plus a success log and an error log. If some messages fail, Resend to failed contacts retries just those.
Message Templates
Templates are the reusable library of message designs for WhatsApp and Email, shared by both Broadcasts and Automations. Open Marketing → Templates (or open it from inside a Broadcast or Automation), switch between the WhatsApp and Email tabs, and tap New Template to create one.
Notes & limitations
WhatsApp templates sent through the official WhatsApp Business connection require Meta approval before they can be used; the template list shows each one's approval status.
The WhatsApp channel option is locked until a WhatsApp Business number is connected.
Sends that use credits (see Messaging Credits) show the cost up front on the Review step.
