Keeping the App Updated

Overview

WAJ checks that you're running a current version of the app each time you open it, and whenever you return to it after switching away. This helps make sure you always have the latest features and fixes.

How it works

If your installed version falls too far behind, WAJ lets you know you need to update before you can continue:

  • You'll see an Update Required screen with a short explanation and your current version number.

  • This screen can't be dismissed or skipped — you'll need to update before getting back into the app.

  • On a phone or tablet, tap Update Now to go straight to the App Store or Google Play and download the latest version.

  • On the web, refresh your browser and clear your browser cache to load the newest version.

Once you've updated, open WAJ again and you'll be right back to normal use.

Notes & limitations

The version check runs on every app open and every return from the background, so you can't stay on an outdated version indefinitely once it's flagged as too far behind.
