The Client List — Search, Filter, Import & Export
Overview
Open Customers from your main menu to see everyone in your business. Each row shows the client's photo (or initials), name, nickname, phone number, and last booking date, with clients grouped alphabetically for easy scanning.
Searching
Search for a client by name, nickname, or phone number using the search bar at the top. If your search doesn't match anyone, WAJ offers to create a new customer for you, with the text you typed already filled in as the phone number.
Filtering clients
Tap the filter icon to open your filter options. You can narrow the list by:
Tags (pick one or more, if you've already tagged clients)
Spend (minimum and maximum amount)
Visit Dates (a from/to date range)
Staff
Branch
Notes (matches text inside client notes)
Phone
Tap Apply Filters to see your results, or Clear Filters to start over. If nothing matches, WAJ lets you know so you can adjust your criteria.
Importing and exporting clients
Managing your list in bulk is available from the menu on the Customers screen:
Export Clients downloads your entire client list as a CSV file.
Download Template gives you a blank CSV formatted the way WAJ expects, ready to fill in.
Import Clients lets you upload a CSV of new customers. WAJ automatically skips any row whose phone number already belongs to an existing client, then shows you a preview of the customers it's about to add (name, country code, phone, and email) before you confirm.
Once you confirm, a progress screen tracks the import, and you'll get a summary when it's done — how many customers were imported successfully and how many duplicates were skipped. If every row in your file turned out to be a duplicate, WAJ tells you that too, so you know nothing new was added.
Notes & limitations
Import matching is based on phone number only — a duplicate is any row whose phone number already belongs to an existing client in your business.
